Here at Shree Hari Yoga School, we provide Yoga Teacher Training
accredited with Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Training in India alongside Continuing Education Programs (YACEP).
Our Teacher Training Courses originated from the desire to share
the authentic heart of yoga and, in so doing, inspire you to do so too.
Our school was born in 2013 amongst the lush coconut palms bordering Kudle Beach in Gokarna, one of South India’s important pilgrimage sites. Since then we have graduated hundreds of certified yoga teachers and expanded to offer training in several stunning locations across India.
Our aim is to provide training opportunities and retreats where you can come as you are to be supported, encouraged, challenged, and embraced. You will meet new friends, explore your practice, share your laughter, learn to teach others, and be welcomed as a member of our international yoga family.

I am Hari Pawali and welcome to Shree Hari Yoga School. I founded the school with the goal of providing affordable high-quality training in yoga and the healing arts, with students of all paths and levels. I set forth to create an inclusive community of students and teachers where all feel welcomed and where I could share the knowledge and experience that I have accumulated along my own path of yoga.
Furthermore, I was born into a family of devotees and was raised from childhood to be a yogi and follower of Lord Shiva. My mother Tara Devi, a Bhakti Guru, became my first guide in the spiritual life. My early additional exposure to yoga was primarily within the Nath Tradition, and after leaving home I lived for some years as an ascetic sadhu following my Nath Guru and fellow disciples on the path of spiritual discipline. I eventually re-entered the worldly life with the seed of motivation to share yoga with the wider world. In support of that dream, I entered an ashram where I resided for several years, delving deeper into the art of teaching yoga and community building.
In 2013 my vision of creating a yoga school and community was realized in the beautiful beachside town of Gokarna. Since then, my school has graduated hundreds of students and expanded to offer courses at multiple locations in both north and south India.

We have been blessed to assemble an incredible teaching team and support staff. Our teacher training courses are led by both world-class Indian instructors and experienced yoga teachers from all over the world selected for their expertise and passion. When possible, we also include our extended network of sadhus and babas who lead workshops, practice sessions, and ceremonies.

I just did my 300 hours TTC at Shree Hari School in Kudle Beach and I can easily say it has been a life-changing experience, as well as a big game changer to my personal yoga practice. The location is amazing, just 100 meters away from the beautiful beach and all its amazing energies. The teachers are all highly qualified with great knowledge about asanas, philosophy, Ayurveda, and anatomy. They are people who dedicated their lives to the practice and discipline of yoga and their passion is so contagious and inspiring! Everybody loves to serve in the institute, from the teachers to the wait staff and the cooks (who have been accommodating us with three delicious and abundant meals a day!). It is more than just a school to get a yoga alliance certificate. Hi! I did the YTT training course in Gokarna with hari and his school. It was such an incredible experience for me. The whole teaching team were so supportive and enthusiastic. It was clear that everyone was very passionate about what they are doing. It was one of the only YTT course in India that I found that was Mutli-style and offered so much teaching practice. You leave the course with skills as well as knowledge. And honestly I couldn’t have asked for me. Also, the location is phenomenal. Gokarna really is such an incredible place to have the good fortune to visit!! Thanks to everyone on the team!

I completed my 300h teacher training with Hari Shree yoga school in Gornkana.
I’m a yogi for more then 10 years and was carefully looking where to do my 300h.
I can highly recommend the Hari Shree yoga school. All the teachers are highly qualified. The school is very well ran and organized .
The food is vegetarian and absolutely delicious.
The schedule is very well balanced and catered to each and individual program you are booking!
I definitely will be back to a more specific training, like in Astanga.
Don’t hesitate to do your teacher training or some course there!
It felt even that the training challenging like being in a big family!

A very good 200 hour YTTC! I expected this course to be a spiritual one, and yes! It was! We had a wonderful homa fire ceremony at the start, learned great mantras to chant, and also how to use yoga asanas and pranayama for pratyahara. I gained more clarity in my mind and my positive thinking has improved. Thank you. It was a great course which truly came from the heart of everyone. Wonderful teachers and wonderful location!
