Everything Happens on Its Own at the Right Time and Unexpected…

Again and again, I remind myself — it is true, everything happens on its own at the right time. Nothing happens without a reason, and everything that happens is useful. Only a few people truly know how to live with this understanding. I’m doing my best to learn it and to accept even the uncomfortable situations.

My friend from Germany visited me very unexpectedly. It was lovely. She stayed with me for a week, and I got the chance to show her around. I brought her to the Art of Living Ashram and Pyramid Valley. She doesn’t plan anything—not even her visa. She just follows where her heart leads and what feels right. I consider myself spontaneous, but not to that extent. That’s a bit wild for me—I would still carry the fear that something could go wrong. But I’m beginning to see more clearly that the people around me are teaching me: everything can work out if we believe.

Maybe this was the reason she had to come to me. Just like another friend from Malaysia—he arrived when I felt completely alone at SVYASA. We spent a lot of time talking. He has a gift we all wish for. If he gets an idea, if he desires something, it happens. His positivity was deeply motivating. People on our campus, even the manager and our SVYASA Guruji, now recognize and use his gift.

Unbelievably, he voiced the same things we students have been saying for a long time—like cleaning the campus, the lakes, and doing something good for the environment. But he made it happen. He’s an engineer, so he also brings valuable insight into construction and related topics. I don’t believe he’s the only student with such good, progressive ideas. But thanks to his charisma and charm, many changes are happening—and fast. I’m sure of it.

Anyway, this is just another example that with the right attitude, things happen at the right time—if it’s meant to be. He arrived exactly when he was needed. Right now, there’s suspicion and unrest on the campus, and things needed to change. The manager said he had tried many times before, but nothing ever came of it.

Reflecting on all these events, I realize I’ve learned a lot. From him, I learned patience. From another dear friend, I learned to go with the flow and not to plan too much, because we don’t truly know what lies ahead. Then, my German friend—she arrived so spontaneously, yet nothing went wrong. She didn’t even worry about her visa, and still, everything worked out. There was no negativity in her mind.

Her way of speaking and her ability to listen to her heart taught me not to live in fear—not even about things like my visa or what happens after my studies at SVYASA. I just need to keep following my heart, without overthinking, and trust in the spirit. Life is our best classroom. Always reflect on yourself and your actions.
