Life is like a wave, everything comes and goes and flows… All my fears have gone away
Life is so complex and beautiful, full of surprises. So many unexpected things always happen for me since I’m on the spiritual path. First, I struggle—and then everything becomes wonderful! 🙂 And the beauty is: everything comes exactly at the right time. :o)
Now, after one year, I finally got my request approved for a new room outside of the Girls Hostel—yeeeah! 😀 I got Lea’s (the other MSC German lady) room. Now I feel so much freer… It’s quiet here and clean.
My previous room in the Girls Hostel developed a lot of fungus after I came back from Mysore. It was so disgusting… Now I’ve got my freedom back, and I no longer need to check the time when I finish dinner or talk with people… It’s wonderful!
I’ve made many new friends here from all over the world. Some did YIC and research, and some are beginning long-term courses. I also met two sweet girls from Switzerland and a very nice guy from Afghanistan.
When we spoke to each other, it felt like we’ve known each other for a long time—even his humor is like mine. He’s like a European! I never thought people from there could be so open-minded. I’m so glad to have this experience and to become more and more open-minded myself. Yeah, we have a lot of fun here now! I am very happy! ^_^
We went to Pyramid Valley and several times to the Art of Living Ashram. Every day, I learn something more, and I can do my yoga practice.
A funny story: my coordinator told me a few weeks ago that everybody had to go to the yoga exhibition in the city, and we were supposed to meet at 5 a.m. in the morning. I was waiting at that time, but nobody came… Then the bus driver showed up at 5:30 a.m.—and still, nobody came. So I had to go alone. A big bus only for me?! 😀 So strange…
Anyway, I went to the exhibition. Some more SVYASA students had arrived the day before, so I met more people. We did 108 rounds of Suryanamaskara, and then there was a yoga competition. A lady convinced me to participate. I did… and boom, I won first prize! ^_^ So nice! First time I participated—and I won. 😀
But it’s okay—I don’t believe in competitions… Still, it’s nice to feel more confident. Yes, it’s a good life now.
About our retreat… mhm, still no registration yet. But I believe: if it’s the right time, it will happen. If not, something else will show up.
I’ve now decided not to go back to Germany after the course in May. I’ll see if I can get a job in Bangalore or Goa or somewhere else. My confidence that everything happens for the best, and at the right time, is growing.
Life is an adventure! Enjoy! ^_^ <3 Om Shanti!
