500 Hour

Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course

Hatha Yoga aims to balance the body’s energies, represented by the sun (HA) and moon (THA). Our TTC emphasizes traditional Hatha Yoga practices, including Surya Namaskar, various standing and seated asanas, and breathing techniques.

Shree Hari Hatha Yoga teacher training

Yin Yoga, a blend of ancient Chinese medicine and Taoist principles, emerged in the U.S. in the 1980s. It focuses on opening energy pathways and restoring flow by targeting connective tissues and engaging the mind. Unlike more dynamic yoga styles, Yin Yoga involves holding poses for extended periods, encouraging a deep connection with one’s feminine energy and the nervous system through mindful breathing.

Who Can Join

Hatha Yoga, the oldest form of yoga, originally focused on meditation and ascetic practices rather than physical postures. Over time, it evolved to include postures that support long periods of meditation by enhancing physical flexibility. The Hatha Yoga Pradipika by Svatmarama, written in the 15th century, describes 84 asanas, marking a shift from purely seated meditation to a diverse range of postures.
