I’m Deepak Dangwal, and I was born in Rishikesh, India, which is often referred to as the world capital of yoga. The name “Rishikesh” itself has deep spiritual significance, as it’s derived from “hrishikesh,” another name for Lord Vishnu. Growing up in this spiritually enriched environment, I’ve been connected to the essence of yoga from a very young age.
My journey with yoga began in my childhood, and I’ve carried this passion with me throughout my life. After completing my academic education, I made a conscious decision to forge a career as a yoga teacher. I immersed myself in the world of yoga, seeking wisdom and knowledge from experienced gurus. The depth of yogic knowledge I acquired was so profound that I pursued a master’s degree in Yogic Science to further enhance my understanding. I also completed a rigorous 500-hour yoga teacher training program to refine my skills.
Since 2017, I’ve been sharing my knowledge and expertise with others who are eager to explore the world of yoga. I specialize as an asana teacher, focusing on teaching various styles, including Ashtanga Vinyasa, traditional Hatha asanas, and Iyengar, with a strong emphasis on proper alignment and adjustment. My teaching approach caters to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
