Shatkarma (Cleaning)

Mudra

Bandha

A bandha is an action, in which you put particular stress and tension on the muscles. You have to hold a static pose, while doing bandhas, along with asanas. Although, you will learn about bandhas in conjunction with Pranayamas, they also have their individual effects. You can lock the Prana in certain areas of the body, by practicing bandhas.

Schedule of Meditation and Pranayama Course at Shree Hari Yoga School

The classes commence early in the morning. You will mostly start the day with cleansing activities. Neti can be performed to clear the nasal passages, so that you can breathe in a better manner. These sessions will be followed by yoga asana sessions, after breakfast.

After that, meditation and Pranayama follows. The teachers impart theoretical education on the above subjects, apart from their practical know-how. You can also learn about the bandhas and mudras preceding the classes. The evenings will comprise of Satsang and mantra chanting, for mental supremacy. You might go on excursions to nearby natural spaces to develop a deeper connection with the elements of nature.

In this immersive 12-day yoga training experience, you will be living in a peaceful community environment while developing friendships with your fellow trainees. You will engage in a regular daily routine that includes meditation, asana practice sessions, theory classes, practice teaching, self-study, and plenty of free time to enjoy the natural surroundings.
