What is Kundalini Yoga & what will you learn?
Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic and powerful form of yoga that focuses on awakening the dormant spiritual energy (Kundalini) believed to reside at the base of the spine. This ancient practice integrates physical postures, breathwork, meditation, mantra chanting, and the application of specific yogic techniques to stimulate the flow of Kundalini energy. The ultimate goal is to achieve a state of heightened awareness, spiritual enlightenment, and a harmonious union between the individual consciousness and the universal consciousness.

Just a few Common Kundalini yoga poses
Kundalini Yoga incorporates a variety of dynamic and static poses, each serving a specific purpose in awakening and channelling Kundalini energy. Here are a few common Kundalini Yoga poses:
Easy Pose (Sukhasana)
- This is a comfortable seated posture with the legs crossed and the spine straight. It is often used for meditation and breathwork.
Spinal Flex (Sufi Grind)
- In a seated position, flex the spine forward and backward in a rhythmic motion. This movement helps to energize the spine and open up energy channels.
Cat-Cow Stretch (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana)
- Similar to the traditional yoga pose, this dynamic movement involves arching and rounding the spine while on hands and knees. It stimulates the spine and enhances flexibility.
Camel Ride (Ustrasana Ride)
- This dynamic pose involves sitting on the heels and rocking forward and backward, engaging the core and stimulating the energy flow along the spine.
Crow Pose (Kakasana)
- This balancing pose involves squatting with the knees on the outside of the upper arms. It challenges balance and strength and is often used for building concentration.
