Yin Yoga is a slow-paced yoga style, in which you hold each pose for more than 5 minutes. It has been incorporated keeping in mind, the traditional Chinese principles. Mudras are subtle accompaniments, that you use in your asana practice. You can also try them with meditative postures. Yoga Sequencing Classes (Practicum)

The classes generally start with the Yang form of yoga, which is called Vinyasa yoga. You get a burst of energy, as you practice this. Moreover, it also warms your body. You can start with some warm ups, including Sun Salutations or the Surya Namaskar.  After that you can start with various standing and folding poses, that will raise the heat quotient in the body. After you have gone through the Vinyasa cycle, your body will be ready for restorative and slow practice, such as Yin Yoga. You can do the poses You have to set an intention for the class, and move towards it. You will likely do poses that require you to sit or lie down. The classes end with meditation, with healing to the core. Anatomy and physiology are also included as a part of the course.

Schedule of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course at Shree Hari Yoga School

The sessions start early in the morning, as with other yoga classes and forms. After you wake up, you can start the day with meditation and Vinyasa yoga. After which you start practicing Vinyasa yoga. Then lecture sessions follow, and thereafter you can practice Yin Yoga. Meditation, Pranayama, and asana practice are included in the core module. You will also practice mantra chanting, and learn to set intentions. Teaching pedagogy classes are also a part of the schedule. You also learn hands-on practice. The schedules can be tweaked a bit, depending on the student’s interests and abilities. Most evenings are spent in contemplative activities at Shree Hari Yoga School.
