For those seeking an even greater opportunity to immerse themselves in yoga and teaching, our 200 Hour and 300 hour courses can be combined into a single combined 500 Yoga Teacher Training Course covering both the foundational and advanced training programs. This intensive approach provides a powerful chance to dive deep into the yoga lifestyle and move quickly along the path towards a teaching career.
We offer 100 Hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP) Courses on ten different yoga methods and topics. These shorter residential courses allow you to dive deep into an individual style of practice while earning Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP) hours which count towards your 500 hour status.
Yin yoga is much more than holding static poses for long periods of time. It’s about healing, revealing our true nature, and understanding the body’s energetic pathways. This 50 hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP) Course is an intensive exploration of the practice and potential of this powerful practice.
In addition to our courses, we offer Customized Yoga Retreats for yogis and yoginis of all levels seeking a calm & spiritual environment to relax and unwind. We have retreat packages that range from several days to an entire month or you can design the perfect program which meets your individual goals.
How you will spend your days and nights during the course
From Monday to Saturday, generally from 6:30am to 6:30pm, your daily routine will include multiple practice sessions as well as practical and theory classes. Your schedule will also include open time for you to engage in self-study and practice teaching with your fellow trainees.
On Saturdays you will have only a half day of coursework and Sundays are your days off. Use this time to relax, study, and enjoy your surrounding.
Your actual schedule will vary weekly but this is an example of what you can expect:

We provide you with clean, comfortable, and safe accommodations located close to the yoga shala. Rooms are either shared between two trainees or private, depending on your preference. These simple but cozy rooms are the perfect respite for rest and relaxation between training sessions. You will step out of your door straight into nature and fall asleep with the sounds of the ocean or mountain breeze. The fresh air and beautiful scenery will fill your soul with happiness and calm.
We provide 3 healthy, energy-boosting vegetarian (vegan-friendly) meals per day, from Monday to Saturday. Our kitchen staff prides themselves on their selection of local, fresh, and seasonally-appropriate ingredients. We aim to give you all the energy you need for this intensive time. Let us nourish your soul and fill your body with prana supporting meals!
Sunday is a holiday for staff and students and we encourage you to try some of the delicious food on offer in the surrounding area.
Please feel free to check-in any time from 10 am on the day before your course’s start date. This arrival day is dedicated for you to settle in and get familiar with your new surroundings. In the evening there will be an orientation and opening ceremony followed by a welcome dinner. The following morning your training schedule will commence after a sunrise fire ceremony.
On the final day, we will hold a closing ceremony where you will get your certificate followed by a photo session with your fellow graduates. Check-out time is 1 pm, but you may join activities throughout the day as desired.

By Air
Approximately 35 kilometers away from Rishikesh the nearest airport is Jolly Grant airport at Dehradun.
Frequent daily flights are available of popular carriers like Air India, Spice Jet and Jet Airways from New Delhi.
For Rishikesh, there are also frequent popular flights available from Lucknow to Dehradun. After reaching at Dehradun airport you can opt for bus service or taxi which is easily available to reach Rishikesh. This will take a short period of around half an hour.
You can also choose the second nearest international airport New Delhi to Rishikesh which is well connected with international cities.
By Train
From Rishikesh the nearest railhead is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometres away.
Haridwar, is linked to major Indian cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata and Varanasi.
Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express and Mussoorie Express. If you are travelling to Rishikesh, we are advising upto Haridwar travel by train and then either take a bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh from Haridwar. To reach Rishikesh bus will take about 45 minutes and taxi will reach you in about half an hour.
By Road
Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun and New Delhi. Everyday buses depart for Yoga Teacher Training Courses is Rishikesh from Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi in the morning and late evenings. As per your convenience, you can choose a regular, deluxe or a luxurious coach.

Yes! This training is appropriate for all those interested in yoga. You do not need any prior experience in yoga to join a 200 Hour Teacher Training offered by Shree Hari Yoga.
Yes, You do require visa to visit India and attend the course. You can come on Tourist visa also, In case if you require admission confirmation letter from us, we can provide it for the process.
Shree Hari Yoga has designated several locations in which you can take your training in India: Dharamshala, Gokarna, and Goa
Under the certification of Yoga Alliance, you will be receiving an internationally recognized standard curriculum.
As a member of Yoga Alliance after completing the program, it will ensure your status as a respected yoga teacher worldwide. There are also other perks and benefits as a Yoga Alliance member.

A very good 200 hour YTTC! I expected this course to be a spiritual one, and yes! It was! We had a wonderful homa fire ceremony at the start, learned great mantras to chant, and also how to use yoga asanas and pranayama for pratyahara.
